Maison Stéphane Saillet

Our adventure began in 2020 in Vertus (Marne, Champagne) with a desire to create fine natural wines that showcase different grape varieties sourced from top quality vineyards across a diverse range of wine regions.
Sustainable viticulture, hand harvesting, spontaneous fermentations in oak or glass vessels without sulfites, allows us to craft unfiltered, fresh, natural wines.

Craftmanship

Wines are bottled at the domaine and produced in small quantities to ensure a high quality due to an artisan and meticulous knowledge.

A human adventure

Each cuvée is produced from grapes coming from estates we work with side by side.

Grapes are coming from diverse regions (Bourgogne, Loire, Alsace, Beaujolais...) and are vinified and bottled in the Marne. Thus their appellation of origin can no longer legally be used and so the wines are sold under "Vin de France" appellation.

A history of time

Some cuvées are made every year whilst others are produced either in selected years or from a range of different plots depending on that year's growing conditions.

Every cuvée benefits from the same care and attention in the winery and the whole range has the expression of vintage and the richness of terroir at its heart.

Every year, technical choices (barrels, times of maceration or aging, destemming...) are rethought with this philosophy.

A propos

Born in 1987, from burgundians origins, with some viticulture and winemaking degrees, my passion for wine and vineyard led me to work in numerous regions and prestigious estates. It is naturally that the idea came to become the first winemaker of Vin de France in Champagne, in order to be able to continue to work with the french terroirs diversity in a same and unique spot.

Pursuing a long time hobby, I've also created a micro-brewery : Brasserie 132. Unusual and various beers aged in 132 liters oak barrels, perfectly adapted for gastronomy, just like wine.
